How long have you lived in New York: Trevor grew up in the Hudson Valley. He briefly lived in the Chicagoland area for a couple of years before relocating to Long Island in 2010.

Family: Trevor & Lindsey got married in Long Island City in the fall of 2013. Their daughter, Cara, and their son, Simon, are the cutest. You should meet them.

Education: Trevor spent two years studying architecture (minoring in musical theater) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology before he felt called to be a pastor. He then spent two years being intentionally discipled and pursuing informal studies. Afterward, he attended Wheaton College where he received a BA in Cultural and Social Anthropology, concentrating on Culture Theory.

How do you understand your role at Beacon? “My role is to be continuously transformed into the image of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit so I can equip others to do the same for themselves until they too can equip others still.”

What do you do for fun? “I like theatre, art, design, fashion, and expertly crafted beer. Most of all, I just enjoy being with people.”

Work Experience: Architectural Designer/Draftsman for John C. Horton, Architect for 6 years, Graphic Artist and Renderer for Round Here Productions for 1 year.

Favorite Book: The Cost of Discipleship, Dietrich Bonhoeffer
