How Long Have You Lived in New York? I have lived in New York my entire life! Well, since my family moved us from Costa Rica when I was 6 months... so basically my whole life.
Education: I went to Suffolk Community College for about 3 years studying theatre with an emphasis in acting, then I dove into the professional theatre scene for a year or two and did a musical theatre intensive at New York Film Academy. However, I have to give props to my singing teacher whom I have known since I was 12!
Experience: I did professional theatre in the city for a while after college. I predominantly was part of a Latin theatre company where we performed and toured with bilingual musicals! (2 years) I choreographed the local musicals for the Bay Shore School District I grew up in and costume designed there as well! (3 years) It was so much fun! I loved working with my kiddos! I've also worked on set as a makeup artist for a couple of different acting or musical projects. (still doing this but 4 years) I guess you could say I have done a little of everything but what l I learned led to this wild calling in my life to be a worship leader. Here is where I culminate all of the artistic skills I have developed for the glory of the Lord! Most of my worship experience I got from watching the fearless, bold, caring, and loving musicians I grew up under at my previous church. (3 years)

Favorite Scripture: Romans 12:2 NIV: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will." ... Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
Favorite Biblical Figure: John the Baptist
Favorite Hobby: Eating tacos, attending Broadway musicals, rollerskating, creating makeup looks... oh, and adding glitter to anything.
Favorite Food: Jamaican food, Indian food, tacos!!!
Favorite Worship Song: this is hard... "Run to the Father" by Cody Carnes or "I Surrender" by Hillsong
