Family: My husband, John, and I have two sons and a daughter. We have been blessed with three adorable grandchildren.

Education: Bachelor in Christian Education and Church Work, Concordia University; Master in Secondary Math Education, St. John's University; Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling, Liberty University; board-certified Christian counselor through the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Experience: I have spent most of my life living and working in New York City and am presently undergoing chaplaincy training with the Billy Graham Association Rapid Response Team. I began my life of service after completing my education as a church worker and Christian educator. After serving in several congregations, I was led to work in the New York City public school system. It was during my 30 years there that my passion for spiritually caring for others was further developed.

Favorite Movie: The Quiet Man or Moonstruck

Favorite Scripture: Job 19:25-26: "I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end, he will stand on earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God."

Favorite Biblical Figure: David. He was a warrior king and writer of Psalms. His character covered all the bases.

Favorite Hobby: Cooking, sewing, and music

Favorite Food: Italian
