Discipleship is much more than growing in knowledge, but it is not less than growing in knowledge. These classes cover topics that would not normally fit into a Sunday morning service.

Discipleship happens in relationship.
Beyond classes, these are the relational environments that help people grow — Groups is the place to browse and join them.
Alpha
We recommend that anyone new to Beacon takes Alpha, no matter where you're at in your relationship with Jesus.
Alpha consists of 8 weekly evening sessions with a meal, video teaching, and group discussion.

Following Jesus requires a great deal of life change. For someone who is just beginning this journey, it can be a little disorienting. Follow-up Groups bring together 2 or 3 new Christians with a disciple-maker who connects with them relationally and helps them become firmly planted in their faith.
