Beacon throughout the years
In 2005, Beacon Church began as a small gathering that has since grown into a church family impacting over 1,100 people who call Beacon “home.”
In our first 10 years, we inherited and outgrew two church buildings, established more than a dozen ministries, and continued reaching those who are far from Jesus. As we look to the future, we do so with gratitude for the faithfulness that laid the foundation we now build upon.
God's answered prayer
Since 2015, we have been praying for a larger building where we can open our doors for even greater impact across our region. God has provided an extraordinary opportunity.
Beacon Church is now under contract to purchase Temple Tikvah, a 27,000 sq. ft. facility less than two miles from our current location. Our vision is to transform this space into our new home where people of all ages can encounter Christ, grow in faith, find community, and be sent out on mission.
Turning vision into legacY
OUR GOAL
Beacon Church is embarking on a three-year Generosity Initiative that will offset the cost of our new building and cover much-needed renovations.
It is also our desire to grow our ministries even in the midst of building renovations, so as not to shift the focus of our true mission: Love God, Love People, Grow in Christ, and Serve the World.
Pledges & First Fruits
Your 3-Year Pledge is the total amount you feel led to give toward the project over the next three years, above your regular giving. This is your full commitment—what you believe God is leading you to contribute between now and the end of the campaign.
Your First Fruits Offering is the first gift you bring on Commitment Sunday. Think of it as kick-starting your commitment. For example, if you commit $10,000 total, and you give $3,000 this weekend, that $3,000 would be your First Fruits; it goes toward your total commitment, leaving $7,000 to give over the next three years. When you divide that amount by three, you get your "additional yearly commitment." In this case, you'd write in on your Building the Beacon Commitment Card. (Use this Commitment Calculator to figure out your numbers)
This isn't just about a building; it's about transformed lives and a stronger church for generations to come.
